Welcome to Near & Far, my little travel journal. After years of travelling on cruise ships, I still get a thrill from packing a case, whether it's for a cosy weekend in a country hotel or a big adventure overseas. Here you'll find the places I've stayed, the experiences I've loved and the ones I'd skip, from special days out close to home to trips further afield.
